COMMUNITIES
Discord servers that run your community, not just host it
A Discord server can be where your members, customers or students actually spend time with you. We design and build servers for businesses, clubs and paid communities, connected to your website and payments, with an AI assistant that answers questions from your own material.
Who it’s for
Discord works best where people come back often and talk to each other, not just to you. That makes it a good fit for:
- Paid communities and courses. Trading groups, coaching programmes, online courses and memberships where access is part of what people pay for.
- Clubs and gyms. Class updates, cancellations, members-only channels and a place for members to organise themselves.
- Product and software businesses. Customer support, feature requests, release notes and a place your most engaged users can help each other.
- Creators, events and local groups. Announcements, ticketed access and a community that outlasts each post or event.
If your audience lives on WhatsApp or Facebook and only needs announcements, we’ll say so. A server nobody opens helps no one.
What we build
- A structure people understand. Categories and channels planned around what members actually do, with clear roles and permissions so the right people see the right things.
- Onboarding that sorts people. Rules, verification and welcome questions that give each new member the right roles automatically, so they land in the channels meant for them.
- Paid membership. Members-only roles granted and removed automatically when a subscription starts, lapses or is cancelled, connected to your payments.
- Support and ticketing. Private tickets for questions, orders or complaints, routed to the right person, with a record of what was resolved.
- An AI assistant that knows your business. A bot that answers common questions from your own content, such as course material, policies or product guides, and hands over to a person when it should.
- Connected to the rest of your business. Posts from your website, shop, booking system or other tools, so announcements and updates appear without anyone copying them across.
- Moderation and safety. Anti-spam, raid protection, sensible permissions and logs, so the server stays a place people want to be.
How it works
It follows the same process as our other work, at a smaller scale.
- Understand. Who the members are, what they come for, and what you need from them: renewals, bookings, questions answered, or simply people staying.
- Plan. A channel and role map, the onboarding flow and the bots it needs, agreed with you before anything is built.
- Build and test. We set the server up, connect payments and tools, and test it with a few real members before launch.
- Hand over. You and your moderators get a short guide to running it day to day, and full ownership. Nothing depends on our account.
- Improve. Optional ongoing support as the community grows: new channels, new automations, and tuning the AI assistant on the questions people actually ask.
You own it
The server belongs to you from day one. Any custom bot we build is yours, with its code and the details of where it runs, and we use only the permissions the setup needs. When the work is done, our access is removed unless you want ongoing support.
If an AI assistant is involved, we apply the same care as our other AI implementation work: it answers from material you approve, it’s clear that it’s an assistant, and people can always reach a person.
Common questions
Is Discord only for gaming?+
No. It started there, but businesses, courses, clubs and software companies use it for paid communities, support and members’ areas. Whether it suits yours depends on whether your members will open it regularly, which is the first thing we look at.
Can members pay to join?+
Yes. Paid access can be connected to your payments so members-only roles are given when someone subscribes and removed when they stop, with no manual checking.
Can you improve a server we already have?+
Yes. We can review an existing server, tidy its structure and permissions, add onboarding, ticketing or an AI assistant, and fix whatever is putting members off.
Do you need admin access to our server?+
Only while we build it, and only with the permissions the work needs. We remove our access at handover unless you ask us to stay on for support.
What does it cost?+
Every community is different, so we price each one after a short conversation. Start a short brief and choose Discord server, and we’ll reply with a fixed price.
