How we look after your information
What we collect, why, who helps us, and how to get in touch about it. Last updated 28 October 2026.
Owner to review. This is a plain-English draft, not legal advice. Check it, add the missing business details, and take it off this banner when you are happy for it to stand.
Street address, postcode, company number and a public email are not in our records yet. The owner needs to add them. Phone: 07368 349702. Cookies are described on the cookie policy. Buying and cancelling are in the terms and refunds.
Who we are
wirral.ai is a UK business based on the Wirral, helping small businesses use AI to take the boring jobs off their plate. We decide how the information below is used, so we are the “controller” for it under UK GDPR.
What we collect and why
- Enquiries and chats with our AI assistant. Your name, business, contact details and what you tell us about the job you want help with, so we can reply and arrange a call. We rely on our legitimate interest in answering you.
- Free checklist downloads. Your name, email, business and the jobs you ticked, so we can send you the checklist and, if you agreed, a few useful follow-up emails. You can unsubscribe from any email in one click.
- Content Hub accounts. Your sign-in details, your business profile and the content you create, so the app works for you. If you subscribe, our payment provider handles your card; we never see the full number.
- Booking a call. When you pick a time, Google Calendar records the booking and the details you enter there.
- How the site is used. Privacy-friendly visit counts (no cookies, nothing that identifies you) so we know which pages help.
Cookies
The site works without any advertising cookies. If you click Accept on the cookie message, we also load the Meta Pixel and Google Ads tag, which set cookies so we can tell which of our ads bring people to the site. If you click No thanks, they never load.
Who helps us run things
We use trusted providers who process information only to provide their service to us: Vercel (hosting, storage and visit counts), Resend (email), Clerk (Content Hub sign-in), Stripe (payments), xAI and Anthropic (the AI that writes replies and content), Google (calendar bookings, and ads if you accept cookies), Meta (ads if you accept cookies, and Instagram and Facebook messages), ManyChat (replies to Instagram comments and messages) and Post for Me (posting to the social accounts you connect in Content Hub). Some of them are based outside the UK and use approved safeguards for international transfers. We never sell your information.
How long we keep it
Enquiries and chats for up to two years after we last spoke, unless you become a client. Checklist and email details until you unsubscribe (we keep a note that you unsubscribed so we don’t email you again). Content Hub information for as long as your account is open, and payment records for as long as the law requires.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or withdraw consent at any time. Use the data request form, message us on WhatsApp, or call 07368 349702. Marketing emails, where we send them, include an unsubscribe link. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
