The shop
mobiUK repairs phones, laptops and tablets, sells devices and accessories, and runs an eBay store. Its customers are almost always in a hurry: a cracked screen or a dead battery, and a search for a repair shop nearby, usually on a borrowed or barely working phone.
What we built
- Mobile first, in the literal sense. Designed at phone size first, with a call and WhatsApp bar fixed to the bottom of the screen so the next step is always one tap away.
- A page for each job people search for. A home page, a dedicated repairs page and a contact page, each with its own focused title and description rather than one page trying to rank for everything.
- Clear answers. The repair process, the brands covered and the common questions, such as how long a repair takes, answered on the page.
- A route for people further away. The eBay store is linked for customers who can’t get to Accrington.
Built for local search
Local repair searches are won on clarity and consistency. The shop’s name, address and phone number are identical everywhere, the surrounding Lancashire towns it serves are listed, and the business details, opening hours and frequently asked questions are marked up in structured data so search engines and AI assistants can read them without guessing.
It is the same approach we set out in our guide to local SEO and AI search, and the one we use for businesses across Wirral, Liverpool and Cheshire.
What it shows
For a local service business, the website’s job is narrow: be found, be trusted, and make contact effortless. Doing those three things well beats a bigger site that does many things adequately.
Common questions
Do you do local SEO for businesses outside the North West?+
Yes. mobiUK is in Lancashire. Most of our clients are in Wirral, Liverpool and Cheshire, but website and local SEO work can be done remotely anywhere in the UK.
How long does a website like this take?+
A focused local business site is usually a matter of weeks rather than months, depending on how quickly content and photos are ready. Start a short brief and we’ll give you a realistic timescale.
